A triple braced centerpost acts as the main support of a barn built by David S. Pollins in 1849 in Unity Township. The farm is owned by Pollins' great grandson Cal Pollins, who lives on the farm. (Brian F. Henry | Tribune-Review)

In 1954, Cal Pollins of Unity Township carved his initials into the side of the barn built by his great grandfather, David S. Pollins, in 1849. Pollins said that some of the people who have worked on the farm have left such markings in and around the barn as a way to keep their place in the history of the farm.  (Brian F.
